v6 is deserved to be protected by the govenment because in Japan, it is rare for boys band to continue music activities without missing ant group member.

Here is an explanation made by wikipedia

V6 (ブイシックス Bui Shikkusu) is a six-member Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates. The group debuted on November 1, 1995 with the single "Music for the People", which was used as the image song for the World Cup of Volleyball in 1995. Their first four singles, including "Music for the People", were all cover versions of the same-titled eurobeat songs composed by Italian producers such as Giancarlo PasquiniAndrea LeonardiAlberto Contini, Sandro Oliva.

Similar to their agency seniors Hikaru Genji, the group is separated into two subgroups based on age. For V6, the group is split into 20th Century and Coming Century, which consists of the three oldest members and three youngest members respectively. The band sold more than 13.5 million albums and singles.

as its name suggests, V6 has six members, as introducing in age order, Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, Yoshihiko Inohara, Go Morita, Ken Miyake, and Junichi Okada. age gap between the oldest and the youngest is maximum 10 years old. This is one of the uniquenesses of this group. In cotrast of other Johnny's groups, they gathered about a month before releasing their 1st single, "Music for The People" (some fans abbreviate it as MFTP) other main groups had experienced underlying life in show businness world as a group and as throughing it, getting to feel solidarity. And hundreds of trainees don't even get a chance to make their debut despite years of paying their dues. Some of V6 members also experienced underlying life. For example, HIroshi Nagano, the 2nd oldest member had spent 10 years till he debuted. However, junichi Okada, the youngest member, only spent a month to debut. Because of this, each member had different attitude to the group work. Though 20th century (the older 3 people group) sticked to continue group work because they could finally make debut, coming century (especially, Go and Ken) thought this group could last less than a year. As for Okada, he had yet not understand what happened to him when he debuted.
